BIOGRAPHY

Chris has been establishing his career at the renowned Larrabee Studios with Manny Marroquin for the past 12 years. During this time he’s had the opportunity to work with an impressive roster of artists such as John Mayer, Imagine Dragons, Lady Gaga, The Weeknd, Rihanna, Sia, Portugal. The Man, HAIM, Kanye West, Alicia Keys, Linkin Park, Post Malone and many more.

Before Larrabee, Chris’ passion for music really took off starting at the young age of 13, playing guitar or bass in bands and then recording them in the basement of his parent’s house. His desire to become better at recording and producing led him to the prestigious Berklee College of Music where he graduated with a degree in Music Production in Engineering. Being around all of the brilliant musicians at Berklee made it very clear to Chris that mixing was where his talents rose above the rest.

After Berklee, Chris moved to Los Angeles and spent a couple years working with record producer and mixer, Al Clay. During this time he got to make recordings from the ground up thru the mixing stage with Pink and Uh Huh Her to name a few. Also, they worked on a number of films, mixing scores such as Crazy, Stupid, Love and I Love You Phillip Morris. While working on the scores and records with Al was a great experience, Chris longed to work in a world-class facility and learn all there is to be loved about analog gear and mixing on large format consoles. Larrabee Studios gave Chris an internship in 2008 and he has been there ever since.

Having spent over a decade listening and working on music at Larrabee under the mentorship of Manny Marroquin has given Chris the ears and experience to mix a wide variety of genres with excellence.
